Services
Small repairs finished on the visit, bigger jobs booked in properly. Here’s what each one involves.

What we carry, what we do
Left-hand column is what’s in the van before we set off. That’s why the middle column usually gets finished the same day.
Ring and describe it. We’ll tell you if it’s a today job or a book-it-in job.
In detail
A pipe that’s let go doesn’t care what time it is. The phone is answered around the clock and the first thing we do is get you stopping the damage while we’re on the way.
Bursts, splits, leaks under sinks and baths, cisterns overflowing, stopcocks that won’t turn, heating and hot water gone in the middle of winter. Made safe first, priced second, repaired third.
Gas Safe registered, so servicing, repairs, swaps and landlord certificates all stay in-house rather than getting passed to somebody else’s diary.
We fit combi, system and heat-only boilers, and unvented cylinders where a property genuinely needs stored hot water. Which one is right depends on the house and how many taps want running at once — not on which is quickest for us to install.
Whole bathrooms from stripping the old suite out to the last bead of silicone, or a single shower swapped over on an afternoon. Both get the same standard of first fix.
Falls on the wastes, valve positions set out before the wall closes, everything tested before it gets boarded and tiled. It’s the part nobody sees and the only part that matters in five years.
The obvious leaks are easy. The expensive ones creep — a patch on a ceiling, a meter that keeps ticking over, a cupboard that smells damp and shouldn’t.
We trace it back to where it’s actually coming from rather than opening up the nearest bit of wall and hoping, then show you what’s failed before we put it right.
Toilets, sinks, showers standing in water, waste pipes gurgling back at you. Cleared on the visit wherever we can.
Then we check why. A collapsed trap or a waste run laid to a bad fall blocks again no matter how many times it’s plunged, and it’s worth knowing which one you’ve got.
New rads, vertical panels for narrow walls, swaps in place, and relocations where the old one was somewhere daft.
If a room never gets warm we’ll work out why properly — sludge, balancing, a stuck valve or a pump on its way out — rather than bleeding it and hoping for the best.
FAQs
Most of the time, yes. That’s the whole point of carrying stock. Bigger jobs like a boiler swap or a bathroom get booked in properly with the materials ordered in advance.
Either. We can supply everything, or fit a suite, boiler or tap set you’ve bought yourself. Just say which when you ring so we price it right.
Yes — Gas Safe registered, so we carry out and certify landlord gas safety checks, and can service the boiler at the same visit.
Happily. On bathrooms we’ll do first fix, come back for second fix once the tiling’s done and coordinate dates so nobody is standing around.
Usually. It depends on where the supplies and waste can reasonably run and what pressure you’ve got. We’ll tell you what’s achievable before you commit to anything.
Yes. Old parts and packaging go on the van, floors get swept, and anything we’ve moved goes back where it was.

Tell us what’s up and roughly when suits. We ring back to agree a time, then we turn up in that window — not at the other end of a day you’ve wasted waiting in.

No obligation. We’ll say honestly whether it’s a half-hour job or a proper one.
